A quick shot with Sonic the Hedgehog while in Vegas!
Basically, this is all about my weight loss journey and mission to get and remain healthy. So many people have asked me what I've done to lose 100 pounds in a year, so I'm sharing my story. All of my successes as well as my failures and the lessons learned. Hopefully I inspire more people to make the necessary changes to live long, healthy lives.

Continuing the Journey
Hey guys, I'm baaaaaaaaack!!! I've been incredibly busy of course but very thankful that people are still interested in my blog and reading. I'm still on the weight-loss journey and trying to better my body and mind. It is still an uphill battle, mostly because I make it that way. When I get stressed, I tend to eat any and everything in sight. Even when I'm not stressed, I eat food because it's there. My sweet tooth is still there lingering around. My underlying problem is that when I allow myself a treat, I indulge and go wayyyy overboard. Last weekend was a hot mess. I had two pints of ice cream to myself, a box of thin mint girl scout cookies (which I am CONVINCED that they are laced with crack cocaine), mcdonald's, cans of arizona, a calzone, cookies and more cookies. I was just as bad on my vacation in Las Vegas. I saw some pictures of myself and thought wooo boy I look huggge. It's a vicious cycle of me indulging then beating myself up over it. Now, I'm trying to stop the madness. I have to watch what I eat and not be afraid to have a treat ever so often, but just that ONE treat. Not only that, but my exercise game has been taken up a notch. I've been lifting more weights and getting on that jump rope cardio. I really wanna feel good about myself and look the part as well. I'm still on the Slim & Sexy Campaign, but I may have to add Health somewhere in there. At the end of the day, my health is more important than how I look in a certain shirt. That's the one thing that I want everyone to take into consideration: Let's get healthy and stay that way. For those who are sticking by my side and supporting me, the journey continues...
