The Hunger is Real


     

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m literally hungry all of the time. I know that I’m not supposed to be that hungry, but I am! It’s not like I don’t either, I’m a big boy. Ever since I started taking protein supplements and increasing my weightlifting regiment, I get insanely hungry.
     After a workout, I drink my protein shake. About an hour later, my hunger level is ridiculously high. I’ll make a peanut butter sandwich on wheat bread, grilled chicken, steamed veggies, a granola bar and some fruit. About two hours later, I’m hungry again. I’ll make some scrambled egg whites, more granola, a bowl of cereal, sweet potato fries. Nope, still hungry. My stomach will growl louder than Mufasa’s roar. I’ll finish my meal and I immediately start planning my next course. That food bill is a tad bit high. Good thing I workout as hard and consistently as I do, otherwise I’d be right back in fattyville.
     I knowwwwww that eating late is not all that great for you, but I refuse to ever go to bed hungry, not gonna do it. The worst thing I’ll have around this time of night is a bowl of cereal and a granola bar, so it’s not tooooo bad.
     Long story short, when I’m hungry, I eat.
