It's me again! So as I've been trying to increase the intensity of my workouts, I decided to make burpees. Let me tell ya: I F***ing HATE THEM!!!!! It hurts like hell, my body is sore all the time. Even walking hurts my spirit. But again let me tell ya: It works wonders!!!! The reason why it works so well is because it's a full-body workout. They help to burn fat and tone lean muscle. It's a combination of interval training and strength training. It's a real bitch to do about 10 or so in a row, but I get through it each time I workout. One time, I did 50 burp
ees in about 10 minutes. It was a huge accomplishment. Despite feeling like mush for a few days, it was worth it. Here's how you do them:
Begin in a shoulder wide stance
Quickly move in to a squat and crouching position with your hands on the floor
Kick your feet back in to a push up position and perform a push up
Bring your legs in together at the same time back in to the crouching position
Explode up and jump as high as you can
Land in the same shoulder wide stance
This completes one repetition
