Better Days

     Hey everybody, long time no post! Well I've been keeping busy working like a dog this summer. I'm graduating college in four months and I'm looking forward to it. I just want to say thanks to everyone who keeps on reading the blog despite my lack of posts the past couple of months. I'm in a great space in my life. I'm happy, healthy, and I know it only gets better from here. In terms of my diet and exercise, I've been pretty consistent. I must say, it's pretty hard to maintain healthy eating habits during the summer. Nobody wants to cook on a hot stove in 86 degree weather!! Luckily, I've been doing just fine. Eating more fruits and veggies, and less junk food (except on Sundays). My workout regiment has consisted of running and doing the Insanity workout program. Let me tell you, running hills in the heat is no joke! But cardio is the best way to lose weight and trim up. This past week, I've gone back to lifting weights and pushing myself. Also, I do about 100-150 pushups a day, about 50 before I go to bed. A couple times this week I've done two workouts a day. When I'm focused and determined, you can't tell me nothing! I may still complain about wanting the six-pack abs, but now I just want to be healthy and happy. I can see some results already, so I'm gonna keep going from here. Everybody that's still on the journey to weight-loss and healthy living, just keep going. If I can do it, you can too!
